چکیده

Cyclohexene esterification–hydrogenation for the efficient production of cyclohexanol will be commercialized first time. Cu/MgO/Al2O3 catalysts with layered double hydroxides as precursors were developed, and effect altering reduction temperature on catalytic activity was explored. Fresh spent exhibited excellent performance after thermal treatment during hydrogenation cyclohexyl acetate to cyclohexanol. STEM images showed that Cu particles grew slightly, without obvious aggregation. Based results XAES in situ FTIR adsorbed CO method, optimal (conversion rate 99.59% 98.94% selectivity) achieved, which attributed synergistic surface-active Cu0 Cu+ sites Cu0/(Cu0 + Cu+) around 0.70, ratios could maintained at temperatures 513–553 K. The morphology well preserved acetate, indicating potential industrial applications. well-dispersed catalyst a stable microstructure possesses an adjustable valence state stability giving it application prospects.

Response to Comment on "Active sites for CO2 hydrogenation to methanol on Cu/ZnO catalysts".

In their Comment on the our recent Report, Nakamura et al argue that our x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) analysis was affected by the presence of formate species on the catalyst surface. This argument is not valid because the reactant gases were evacuated at temperatures from 525 to 575 kelvin, conditions under which formate is not stable on the catalyst surface. An analysis of the XPS r...

Comment on "Active sites for CO2 hydrogenation to methanol on Cu/ZnO catalysts".

Kattel et al (Reports, 24 March 2017, p. 1296) report that a zinc on copper (Zn/Cu) surface undergoes oxidation to zinc oxide/copper (ZnO/Cu) during carbon dioxide (CO2) hydrogenation to methanol and conclude that the Cu-ZnO interface is the active site for methanol synthesis. Similar experiments conducted two decades ago by Fujitani and Nakamura et al demonstrated that Zn is attached to format...

Promotive Effect of Sn2+ on Cu0/Cu+ Ratio and Stability Evolution of Cu/SiO2 Catalyst in the Hydrogenation of Dimethyl Oxalate

The influence of Sn2+doping on the structure and performance of silica supported copper catalyst was systematically investigated and characterised. Catalytic evaluation showed that the suitable content of Sn2+ introduced into a Cu/SiO2 catalyst evidently improved the catalytic activity and stability of ethylene glycol synthesis from dimethyl oxalate. X-ray diffraction and X-ray auger electron s...

Residual Stress in Cu Sputtered Films on Glass Substrates at Different Substrate Temperatures

Copper films of 300 nm thickness deposited by planar magnetron sputtering on glass substrates, for substrate temperatures between 300 and 500 K, and deposition rate of 10 ?s?1. Microstructure of these films was obtained by X-ray diffraction, while the texture mode of diffractometer was used for stress measurement by the sin2? technique. The components of the stress tensor are obtained using mea...
